Tim Skold, born Thim Sköld on December 14, 1966, in Skövde, Sweden, is a Swedish
musician and record producer. Influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal,
Skold acquired a first bass guitar at age 12 and played in various cover bands.
At 17, after studying Process Engineering, Skold moved to his own apartment and
took factory jobs while rehearsing with guitarist Harry "Harry Cody" Kemppainen.
In the early 1980s, they formed Kingpin, releasing the single "Shout It Out"
