Silversun Pickups, an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2000, originated from the meeting of guitarist Brian Aubert and bassist Nikki Monninger aboard a flight from Los Angeles to London in 1994. After recruiting drummer Christopher Guanlao and keyboardist Joe Lester, the group released their debut EP Pikul in July 2005, featuring the track "Kissing Families". Their first full‑length album, Carnavas, followed on 26 July 2006; the single "Lazy Eye" reached the top ten on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2007 and was later included in the video games Rock Band 2 ...
