Silent Stream of Godless Elegy is a Czech folk metal band formed in 1995 in
Hranice, Czech Republic. The group was established by the brothers Michal Hajda
and Radek Hajda. Their debut album, Iron (1996), was followed by the recording
Behind the Shadows (1998). In 2000, they received an Anděl Award for the album
Themes (2000). The ensemble incorporated Moravian folklore for the recording
Relic Dances (2004), which received a second Anděl Award. Their discography
