Sigmund Groven, born on March 16, 1946, in Heddal, Telemark, Norway, is a
classical harmonica player. Growing up in a family with rich musical traditions,
Groven was inspired by Tommy Reilly's harmonica playing and began studying with
him in London from 1960. He made his solo debut in 1965 and has since performed
extensively on TV and radio. Groven’s repertoire spans popular, folk, classical,
