Shrinivas Vinayak Khale, born on 30 April 1926 in Bombay, Bombay Presidency,
British India, was an Indian composer and music director. After earning a
diploma in vocal music from the Music College of the Maharaja Sayajirao
University of Baroda and training under Madhusudan Joshi of the Agra‑Atrauli
gharana, Shrinivas Vinayak Khale entered the Marathi film industry, scoring
Yanda Kartavya Ahe (1956) and Bolki Bahauli (1961). He later composed for
