Shiv-Hari
Shiv-Hari, an Indian musical duo, was formed in 1967 and consisted of Shivkumar
Sharma on the santoor and Hariprasad Chaurasia on the bansuri. Their early
breakthrough came with their first album Call of the Valley, released in 1967,
which featured innovative use of guitar by Brij Bhushan Kabra and became one of
the most successful classical Indian music releases internationally. Shiv-Hari
continued to perform live together, touring various locations including London
and Singapore in 2011.
