SHISHAMO
Shishamo were a Japanese rock and pop rock ensemble from Kawasaki active between
2010 and 2026. The group was established by Asako Miyazaki, Misaki Yoshikawa,
and Aya Matsumoto. After Matsumoto departed in 2014 the ensemble included the
bassist Aya Matsuoka. Their recording career began with the self-produced
recording Sotsugyō Seisaku (2013) and the debut studio recording Shishamo
(2013). They achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Shishamo
5 (2018) which reached number 3 on the Japanese charts. Their discography
