Zachary Shigeto Saginaw, known mononymously as Shigeto, is an American
electronic musician born in Ann Arbor. He attended the School of Jazz and
Contemporary Music in New York for over a year before leaving the program.
Saginaw released the recordings Semi Circle EP and What We Held On To EP in
2010. His debut studio album, Full Circle, appeared in 2010. Subsequent albums
included Lineage (2012), No Better Time Than Now (2013), and The New Monday
(2017). Saginaw co-founded the label Portage Garage Sounds with his brother, Ben
