Sharon Prabhakar, born on August 4, 1955 in Delhi, India, is a singer known for
her contributions to pop music. Raised in a multicultural environment with
Punjabi and English influences, she gained popularity for singing in Hindi pop
and disco. Prabhakar gained recognition for her unique style, often described as
reminiscent of Joan Baez. Her album Feeling Good was released on the Polydor
