Shanti
Shanti Snyder is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and television host born in
Japan in 1981. Known professionally as SHANTI, they are the daughter of the
musician Tommy Snyder. Shanti achieved recognition through collaborations with
the composer Yōko Kanno, including the theme song for the film Escaflowne: The
Movie (2000). Their debut solo album, Share My Air (2008), was recorded in
Paris. Shanti’s discography includes the albums Born to Sing (2010), which
