Shan Vincent De Paul
Shan Vincent De Paul, born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, is a Canadian rapper who moved
to Toronto as a refugee due to civil war. His debut album Saviors was released
on April 15, 2016. In 2017, he released the EP SVDP 1 and the studio album
Trigger Happy Heartbreak. De Paul is part of the Toronto-based artist collective
sideways. He won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Music in a Comedy
Series at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023 for his work on the television
series Sort Of.
