Crown Uzama, known professionally as Shallipopi, was born on 12 April 2000 in
Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, and emerged as a rap artist from the Nigerian
music scene. He first gained attention with early freestyle releases on TikTok
in 2015, before formally launching his career in 2021 with the single "Gra Gra",
followed by "Power" and "Shaka" in 2022. The breakthrough came in March 2023
