Shades of Rhythm, an electronic dance music group from Peterborough, United
Kingdom, was formed in 1988. They gained significant traction during the late
1980s and mid-1990s, becoming notable figures in the early 1990s rave scene.
Their debut single "Homicide"/"Exorcist" was released on ZTT Records in January
1991. That year also saw the release of "Sweet Sensation", which sampled Patti
LaBelle's "Something Special (Is Gonna Happen Tonight)", and "The Sound of
Eden", which reached number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. Their debut album,
