Sevara Nazarkhan, born on December 23, 1976, in Uzbekistan, is a singer,
songwriter, and musician known for blending Uzbek folk and contemporary music.
She began her solo career in 2000 and released her debut album Yoʻl boʻlsin in
2003 on Real World Records, produced by Hector Zazou. The following year, she
toured extensively across Europe and Asia and was a support act for Peter
Gabriel's Growing Up Tour 2004. In 2004, Nazarkhan received the BBC Radio 3
World Music Award in the category Best Asian Artist. She released several
