Seona Dancing was a British new‑wave group formed in 1983 by Ricky Gervais and
Bill Macrae while studying at University College London; Ricky Gervais served as
vocalist and lyricist, Bill Macrae handled keyboards and composition. The duo’s
first release was the single "More to Lose" (June 1983), followed by the EP
Bitter Heart (July 1983), both issued by London Records; the singles charted at
