Selig is a German rock band from Hamburg that was founded in 1992. The band
consists of Jan Plewka (vocals), Christian Neander (guitar), Leo Schmidthals
(bass) and Stephan "Stoppel" Eggert (drums). Former member is Malte Neumann
(keyboard), who was part of the group until 2014. Musically, Selig play in the
genre of German rock with influences from grunge and experimental 70s rock.
Their self-titled debut album Selig was released in 1994 and reached number 35
