Sebastián Mendoza (born January 20, 1984, in Lanús, Buenos Aires) was an
Argentine cumbia singer who first reached a national audience as the lead voice
of Malagata around the band’s Magia Suburbana era (2000), before launching a
solo career soon after. He broke out on his own with the album Todo Bien (2002),
then continued with A Todo o Nada (2005) and Extraños Conocidos (2006),
establishing a romantic, hook-first style that sat between classic “movida
tropical” songwriting and a more modern stage delivery. He followed with later
full-length projects including Único en Su Especi...
