Schrottgrenze is a German indie-rock band founded in 1994 in Peine by Saskia
Tsitsigias and Timo Sauer. The group gained initial traction with their debut EP
Unehrlich, verlogen und stinkfaul (1995) and first album Auf die Bärte, fertig,
los!!!. Their breakthrough came with the release of Super in 1998, marking the
peak of their early pop-punk phase. Schrottgrenze later transitioned to a wavier
indie-rock and post-punk sound, releasing albums such as Vaganten und Renegaten
