Schmyt's real name is Julian Schmit and he is a singer and rapper from Germany. The artist took his first musical steps in the hip-hop band Rakede in 2013. The band disbanded in 2020 and Schmyt launched his solo career. In the same year, Schmyt released two singles, "Niemand" and "Taximann". In 2021, Schmyt released his first EP, Gift. The EP makes it to number 29 in the German charts. The title track "Gift" also made it to number 49 in the charts.
