Saves the Day
American rock band Saves the Day were founded by lead vocalist and guitarist
Chris Conley in 1997 under the name Sefler. After releasing the acoustic EP I'm
Sorry I'm Leaving in 1999, the group secured a deal with Equal Vision Records
and issued their debut full‑length Can't Slow Down the same year. The
breakthrough came with the 2001 album Stay What You Are, which sold 200,000
copies and produced the MTV2‑played singles "At Your Funeral" and "Freakish". In
