Savannah Ré Simpson, known as Savannah Ré, is a Canadian R&B singer-songwriter
from Scarborough, Ontario. She graduated from St. John Paul II Catholic
Secondary School and began performing in Toronto after being encouraged to take
the stage at an open mic show. Her debut album, Opia, was released in 2020. Ré's
breakthrough came with the song "Solid", which won the Traditional R&B/Soul
Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2021 and was nominated for the SOCAN
