Sarai Marie Howard is an American rapper and songwriter born on January 23,
1981, in Kingston, New York. After relocating to Atlanta, Howard signed a
recording contract with Epic Records, becoming the first white female rapper
represented by a major U.S. label. In 2001, she appeared on the recording “Same
Ol' Same Ol' (remix)” by the ensemble P.Y.T.. Her debut studio recording, The
Original, appeared in July 2003 and reached number 187 on the Billboard 200
