Sara Macliver, born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, is an Australian
soprano singer. She trained locally under Molly McGurk and began her career as a
Young Artist with the West Australian Opera Company. Her early roles included
Micaela in Carmen, Papagena in The Magic Flute, and Giannetta in L'elisir
d'amore. In 2007, Macliver created the role of Echo/Aphrodite in Richard Mills’
opera The Love of the Nightingale with the West Australian Opera Company. She
