Santa Barbara
Santabarbara, a Spanish rock group formed in Barcelona in 1969, consisted of
bassist and vocalist Enric Milián, guitarist Mario Balaguer, and drummer Alberto
López; the trio emerged from earlier collaborations with Tony Ronald and Georgie
Dann, and López had played with Los Polares. In 1971, the band released single
"No estoy bien" backed with "Buscaré otra chica". Their breakthrough came with
the single "Charly" in 1973, which became a national hit and secured a contract
