Salvador
Salvador is a Christian band from Austin, Texas, founded by brothers Nic and
Josh Gonzales as part of their home church's worship band. The name Salvador,
meaning "Savior" in Spanish, reflects the band's faith-based roots. Their album,
Salvador, was released in 2000. Over the years, they released several albums,
including Into Motion (2002) and Worship Live (2003). Salvador won the Dove
Award for Spanish Album of the Year with Con Poder at the 35th GMA Dove Awards
in 2004. Notable songs include "Heaven" (2004) and "Aware" (2008).
