Saiddy Bamba
Saiddy Bamba is a Brazilian pagode baiano group formed in 1998 in Salvador,
Bahia, and the project took shape in 1999 after a split from another local band
in the same scene. In their early years, they built momentum through regional
media coverage and a steady run of shows beyond Bahia, including dates in cities
such as Brasília, Aracaju, Recife, and São Paulo. Fronted first by vocalist Alex
Maxx (1998–2016), the band’s lineup later centered on John John Miranda
