Saad Lamjarred
A key figure in Arab pop, Saad Lamjarred was born on April 7, 1985 in Rabat,
Morocco. The son of singer Bachir Lamjarred, better known as Bachir Abdou, and
actress Nezha Regragui, he naturally chose show business as a path to
fulfilment. First enrolled at the Conservatoire National de Musique, he made his
stage debut alongside his father before moving to the United States for a
decade. Saad Lamjarred's career then took off in Lebanon, where he took part in
the 4th edition of the Lebanese TV show SuperStar in 2007 and reached the final.
