Short Sharp Rock, known as SSS, is a crossover thrash band from Liverpool,
England. The group released their self-titled debut EP in 2006 through Dead and
Gone Records, which included the seven-minute track "Black Night, White Light"
as a tribute to Cliff Burton of Metallica. Their first full-length album, Short
Sharp Shock, was initially released by Dead and Gone Records in 2006 before
being reissued by Earache Records in 2007. This led to subsequent albums with
