S.P.O.C.K, a Swedish synthpop band formed in 1988, the original lineup was
songwriter Eddie Bengtsson, Finn Albertsson, and vocalist Alexander Hofman. The
group initially performed under the name Mr. Spock but later changed to
S.P.O.C.K (Star Pilot On Channel K) due to trademark issues with Paramount
Pictures. Their commercial breakthrough came in 1990 with the release of
"Silicon Dream" by Accelerating Blue Fish. Throughout their career, S.P.O.C.K
