Kiyotaka Sugiyama is a Japanese singer from Yokohama born in 1960. Sugiyama
began a career as the lead vocalist of the group S. Kiyotaka & Omega Tribe,
which was discovered by producer Koichi Fujita. Their debut recording, the
single “Summer Suspicion” (1983), reached number 9 on the Oricon Singles Chart.
Their debut album, Aqua City (1983), reached number 4. Subsequent recordings
include the albums River's Island (1984), which reached number 3, and Another
