Ryan O'Shaughnessy was born on 27 September 1992 in Loughshinny, Skerries, County Dublin, Ireland, and began his artistic career as a child actor, portraying Mark Halpin in the soap Fair City from 2001 to 2010. After leaving the series, he pursued music, receiving training at the Billie Barry Stage School and later at the Dublin Institute of Technology and BIMM Dublin.
