Rux
RUX, a Korean street‑punk group formed in Seoul in 1996, emerged from the early
1990s Hongdae scene, where punk venues such as Club Drug fostered local acts.
The band’s debut EP, I Gatta Go, released in 1999, drew inspiration from the
compulsory military service that sidelined many members, including frontman Won
Jong‑hee, until 2002. Following the hiatus, RUX issued the studio album Where
Are We Going in 2004, followed by 2005 Live (2005), Ruckus Army (2007), and
Eternal Circuit (2009), each solidifying their presence on the Korean punk
