Ruth Dolores Weiss, born רות דולורס וייס on February 23, 1978, in Ashkelon,
Israel, is an Israeli singer. Her music career began with the release of her
first album, Come See (Raw Versions), in 2004. In August 2008, Weiss released
her second studio album, Be'Ivrit, which received critical acclaim in Israel.
The album was praised by top music critics such as Ben Shalev and David Peretz
for its emotional depth and unique voice. Weiss also composed the soundtrack for
the 2012 film Hayuta and Berl. Her subsequent albums include My Middle Name Is
Misery (2012).
