Ruby Blue
Ruby Blue was a Scottish pop music group formed in 1986 by Rebecca Pidgeon and
Roger Fife. The band's lineup included Anthony Coote on bass guitar, Erika
Spotswood on backing vocals, and Karlos Edwards on drums. In 1986, while Pidgeon
was studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, she recorded a demo tape
with Fife that secured them a deal with Red Flame Records. Their debut album
Glances Askances was released in 1987, featuring singles "Give Us Our Flag Back"
and "So Unlike Me". In 1990, Pidgeon left the group to pursue an acting career
in the U.S., and Spotswood took over ...
