Roma Tanaka, born in San Francisco, California, is a Japanese R&B singer. Influenced by classical music from his parents, he transitioned to hip‑hop and R&B during high school and later joined the professional dance group Culture Shock, performing in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York. In February 2005, he relocated to Japan after a successful audition, beginning work with rapper DOHZI‑T and collaborating with Miliyah Kato.
