Rose Liu, born on September 14, 1986, in San Francisco, is a Chinese-American
singer and songwriter. She graduated from New York University with degrees in
psychology and economics and later studied Chinese at National Taiwan Normal
University. Liu's music career began with appearances on televised shows such as
American Idol and One Million Star, where she finished as runner-up in both
seasons 5 and 6, respectively. In 2014, she made history as the first
