Rooney
Rooney, an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1999, initially went by
the name Ed Rooney. The original lineup featured Robert Schwartzman on lead
vocals and guitar, Matthew Winter on bass, Teddy Briggs on drums, Taylor Locke
on guitar, and Matthew Star on guitar. Ned Brower later replaced Briggs on
drums, and Louie Stephens joined as keyboardist. The band released several
independent EPs before Schwartzman moved to New York City for college,
continuing to write songs for Rooney. Their demo CD featuring "Popstars", "If It
Were Up To Me", and "Losing All Control" attracted...
