Missouri, is an American jazz drummer known for blending jazz, funk, and soul.
He started his musical career at age seven as a member of the St. Louis
Cathedral boys' choir and performed with Duke Ellington at nine. Burrage's early
groups included The Soul Flamingos and Fontella Bass. At 17, he moved to New
