Ronan Browne, born in Dublin, Ireland, is a composer and musician known for
playing the uilleann pipes. He is the grandson of Delia Murphy. Browne's early
involvement in music included collaborations on albums such as Dysart Tola
(1982) and Round the House et Mind the Dresser (1987). His breakthrough came
with the album The South West Wind: Traditional music from County Clare,
