Romeo Void is an American new wave and post-punk band formed in San Francisco,
California, in February 1979. The group consisted of vocalist Debora Iyall,
guitarist Peter Woods, bassist Frank Zincavage, saxophonist Benjamin Bossi, and
several drummers including Jay Derrah and Aaron Smith. The band was founded at
the San Francisco Art Institute by Iyall and Zincavage, who were inspired by the
local punk and post-punk scenes. Romeo Void released their first single "White
