Romain Virgo
Romain Virgo, born on January 24, 1990, in Stepney, Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica,
is a singer specializing in lovers rock reggae. Growing up, he was influenced by
his cousin Bryan Art and sang in the school choir at Aabuthnott Gallimore High
School. Virgo's breakthrough came in 2007 when he won the Digicel Rising Stars
competition, securing a recording contract with Greensleeves Records. His first
hit single "Can't Sleep" (2008) was produced by Donovan Germain. Subsequent hits
