Rolly Teranishi, born Kazuo Teranishi on 6 September 1963 in Kyoto, Japan, is a
Japanese guitarist, singer, and producer who emerged from the Osaka music scene.
After honing his skills on guitar, banjo, and mandolin, he became the lead
guitarist and vocalist for the rock band Scanch, contributing to a series of
releases such as Scanch’n’Roll Show (1988) and Historic Grammar (1996). The band
dissolved in 1996, prompting Rolly Teranishi to launch a solo career that saw
