Rojo is a Mexican Christian rock band formed in 2000 in Hermosillo, Sonora, by
bassist Emmanuel Espinosa and drummer Rubén González, with guitarist Oswaldo
Burruel and vocalist Annette Moreno joining shortly thereafter. The group
debuted in Los Angeles at a youth congress hosted by Luis Enrique Espinosa,
releasing their self‑titled album Rojo in 2001, which achieved Gold
certification in 2003. In 2003 the band issued 24/7, followed by Día de
Independencia in 2004, both bolstered by collaborations with Juan Salinas and
