Composed of rapper Rodney Oliver aka Rodney O, DJ Joe Cooley and Jeffrey Page aka General Jeff, the Rodney-O & Joe Cooley trio is an American rap group formed around 1987 in Los Angeles. In 1988, the group, signed to the Egyptian Empire label, scored their first hit with "This Is for the Homies", charting at no. 17 on the rap charts and taken from their debut album Me and Joe (charted at no. 187 on the Billboard 200).
