Rockie Lynn Rash, born November 14, 1964, in Statesville, North Carolina, is an
American country music artist. Adopted into a Southern Baptist family, Rash
began playing guitar at age 12 and later performed with local bands. After
serving as a paratrooper in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division, he
attended the Guitar Institute of Technology. In 2005, Rockie Lynne signed with
Universal South Records and released his debut single "Lipstick", which reached
