Robin Ward
Jacqueline McDonnell, better known by her stage name Robin Ward, is an American
pop singer who was born in 1941 in Hawaii. Raised in Nebraska, her first public
performances were with her sisters in a church. After winning a national talent
search, she moved to Los Angeles and was hired at age 13 to sing on the
television program Bandstand Revue, performing popular hits from 1954 to 1958.
In 1962, she recorded backing vocals for the Pat Boone single “Speedy Gonzales”
