Robin Lane is an American rock singer and songwriter. She began performing in
folk-rock clubs during her teens. In 1978, she formed Robin Lane & the
Chartbusters, who were later signed to Warner Bros. Records and released their
self-titled debut album in 1980, featuring the single "When Things Go Wrong,"
which reached number 87 on the Billboard singles chart. The band released
additional records and disbanded in 1983. Lane continued her musical career with
independent releases including Heart Connection (1984) and Catbird Seat (1995).
