Roberto Cacciapaglia, born in 1953 in Milan, Italy, is a pianist and composer
known for blending electronic experimental music with classical traditions. He
graduated from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, studying composition,
direction, and electronic music. In the early 1970s, Cacciapaglia worked as a
session musician and joined Franco Battiato's group. His debut album Sonanze,
released in 1975, featured orchestral, choral, and electronic elements.
