Robert Finley
Robert Finley was born on February 13, 1954 in Bernice, Louisiana. He began
playing guitar at age 11 after purchasing one from a thrift store. In 2016,
Music Maker Relief Foundation helped facilitate his comeback and he released his
debut album Age Don't Mean a Thing. Finley collaborated with Dan Auerbach of the
Black Keys for subsequent albums including Goin' Platinum! (December 8, 2017),
Sharecropper's Son (May 21, 2021) and Black Bayou (October 2023). For October
