Robby Turner
Robby Turner, born in the United States in 1962 or 1963, was an American pedal
steel guitarist. Turner began playing drums in his father's band at six years of
age and switched to pedal steel guitar at 10 years of age, becoming the youngest
endorser for Sho-Bud pedal steel guitars at 12 years of age. He rose to
prominence performing alongside Waylon Jennings and touring with The Highwaymen
starting in 1989, a partnership that culminated in producing Jennings' 2012
album, Goin' Down Rockin': The Last Recordings. Turner released solo studio
